When I was a kid, you could order a rifle from Sears and the PO would deliver it to your door. We all had rifles in our trucks in high school, even the teachers. It isn't the guns. It is the nuts.

For those that want to scream 2nd amendment, the second and third words of that amendment are "well regulated"
Defending life is another purpose.

I have no intention of ever committing murder with my guns... but I'll most definitely blow someone away if they break into my home.

Oh... I support training and registration to legally own firearms. No problems with it at all.

The lawless would be breaking and entering the lawful peoples homes if we had to give up our guns... it would be easy for the home invader if they knew that people had no gun to defend themselves.. the criminals would have free reign and they would know it.

It was probably Washington. Just when I thought I'd seen it all... I moved here.

When I bought my .375 I had to wait 10 days... then another 30 days for the CCP. Pretty common I guess although a lot slower than the criminals take in getting their guns.

What do you think registration would accomplish?

I was an opioid addict until around 2015, I started using low grade opioids like Vicodin and Percocet obtained thru my doctor, eventually they wouldnt cut it anymore and I needed the stronger stuff, once the 2012 prescription drug laws took effect, pills became too expensive and too hard to obtain every day, so I made the jump to heroin (which was easily and readily available at that time).

I knew about 8-12 dealers, they could also obtain weapons if the price was right (they can get just about anything too).
Did any of those 8-12 dealers ever serve any current members of Congress?

If we pass the BG check, we can walk out when bought. No permits to carry required.

Why is gun control so effective in every single other 1st World Nation? Nothing is 100% but the other nations have reduced gun homicides 90%+ compared to us.

We have 22.000 gun laws already on the books. The nuts break many of them and also laws against MURDER and a plethora of other laws. More won't help.
