When you laugh, giggle at someone at your rally that says "Shoot them" referring to illegal immigrants, it's pretty bad. Anyone w/ any normal human responses would have just told her, No, like McCain did in the crowd when the woman said Obama was not from this country. Republicans have sure changed.
Of course they are different now. They won victory on the back of uniting "trolls" as a voting block and have been bleeding moderates ever since, leaving "trolls" as the largest unified block in the party.
The NRA owns Trump, Pence, and McConnell’s a$$ to the point that they will never do anything about gun control or strict background checks! Most firearms should be completely banned! It’s really sad to hear that so many people have died, and the president is responsible for inciting so much violence!!
The US is in big trouble due to an ignorant population.
Trump is one of those ignorant.....in a sense he is responsible for putting gasoline on the fire of ignorance, but at the same time ignorance IS an excuse. The ignorant watched too much reality TV and were convinced than an ignorant person can help them.....but neither side knows how to help or be helped (the forgotten man or the POTUS).
The POTUS would not help even if he could. He's not made of moral fiber. Some of those who voted for him and support him are.....but only some. The rest have preferred their inner lizard to reason.
Twice as many people die from flu than from guns, and two-thirds of gun deaths are suicides. Where's the media hysteria over the flu?
Do you all get your cues from the same talking points? It's truly amazing that somehow...you all think of the same excuses at the very same moment.
More reasonable and logical people are horrified at the deaths caused by pollution and motor vehicles...yes, and guns and such. Less so with drugs since that is an individual choice (in the big picture)..
It would be one thing if "conservatives" fought for more MPG and a cleaner environment and safer cars and places designed for Pedestrians...but they DO NOT (look at Florida...try to walk around Orlando).
So, is what you are saying....that all the conservative viewpoints add 100's of thousands of diseases and deaths to the total but that no single one of these viewpoints is more important than another? In other words, NONE are important to you?
Let me repeat the very simple question. If you would be OK for your wife, child, best friend or even yourself to be mowed down innocently in public by a domestic terrorist...and you would STILL feel the exact same way about your guns and stuff, then you do have a bit of consistency.
If people are honest, tho, most would say their minds would change.
Clearly The Walmart guy was a racist and a white supremacist. He would probably have these same leanings had Trump never been elected. But make no mistake, when the leader of the United States echoes similar sentiments, it is very easy for some to see this as tacit encouragement of their beliefs, and can push them into thinking that violence against the “enemy” is an acceptable action. I do hope this blows back on Trump in the election, but many of his supporters are too stupid (or pretend to be) to have reservations about voting for a president whose rhetoric promotes this kind of hate. They don't see the connecting thread from the sociological implications anti-immigration speech and policy through to the actions of some people who have an unbalancing obsession with in.
If there are 30 people in a room, and odds say that one of them maybe a pyromaniac, how about not giving anybody a match?
Who inspired the dayton shooter? Can you please stop making hay out of these tragedies.
Well, he kept a rape list and a hit list.
Who but a gun nut and poisonous male does such a thing? Guns are one of the few tools that give the meek that feeling of power to allow them to keep...and put into action...such hit lists.
C'mon. Have some reason. "You know what we used to do with people like this".....right?
"The Dayton, Ohio, shooter reportedly kept a “rape list” of potential victims
The Dayton shooter’s history of misogyny fits into a large and disturbing pattern."
This is the type of guy y'all constantly tell us doesn't exist. Or, maybe you tell us he was forced into it by smart women.
"had a documented history of violence or threatened violence against women, and that said history had absolutely no effect on his ability to get a gun."......
The guy was quite typical for a certain type in High School. Turned down for dates. That would not seem to be a Capital Crime....except that the "Woman have ruined things for men" chant that pervades right wing media.
Make no mistake about it. Lots of people have blood on their hands. They will fade into the background as it becomes evident and act like they never knew...just as sites like Breitbart now have 1/10th the visitors they did. What happened to the other 90%?
One shooter wanted to be a puzzy grabber but didn't have the social position or money to do so, the other wanted to follow the Nationalist causes. Both major loves of the POTUS and some of his base.
His "resistance" will do much more damage to our nation than he himself ever could.
agree.
the Resistance is blowing the nation apart.
