When Trump admits to the hoaxes he has spread and the criminality he has engaged in, that will be a good start. Redemption is possible, he could ask for forgiveness. Many of Trump's most vociferous critics have a soft spot in their hearts.

I was thinking the very same thing earlier--there is absolutely nothing he can do that would appease the left in any respect. THey want to overturn the results of the election at ANY cost. The Mueller report has been DEAD for a week now because it was going NOWHERE.
Any changes that he proposes, and if the LEFT likes it--they say "it's not enough!!" if he does give them exactly what they want--he gets no credit for it because they claim that he was "forced" and "pressured" against his own instincts. Anything to deny him the credit and calling him a "great negotiator."
He consoles families during a tragedy...the left rushes to say "YOU ARE THE REASON FOR IT"...if he said or did nothing, then they'd complain about that.
I GUARANTEE you when he closes the deal on China, the "brain trust" of the intellectual left (news paper columnists op-ed pieces, left wing policy wonks at think tanks, politicians and MSNBC/CNN commentators) will claim that it's "really nothing just the same deal that we already had but even worse" and does "little while causing all this damage along the way."
