And those in the lower 48 have never heard the term "hill billy", "redneck", "Okie" or "Yankee", right? No one has a concept of what those words mean, right?

How’s that different anywhere else?

My state isn’t very fond of Mass-holes flooding in every summer.

This show your racism towards Hispanics maybe.
Sad thing is the racism can also come from Mexicans against puerto ricans. Alot of bs over small differences.

I find it hypocritical that people like you bash the Europeans that settled North America. What they encountered were murdering, savage Indians that killed, raped and enslaved one another over hunting grounds, and other things. They stole from each other, and killed each other brutally. They were an inferior STONE AGE culture that was replaced by a better one. Get over it.
So those same Europeans who were so shocked by murder, rape, slavery and stealing decided that they Europeans will kill, rape, slave and steal the lands of Native Americans to, of course, profit themselves. And they were the ones advanced and with a superior culture??? Please give me a break. Colonialism is probably one of the most brutally injustices and crime against humanity ever committed. And definitely colonialism is the main reason why countries in Latin America and Africa don’t have stronger democracies to this date.

Indeed. And that's why Puerto Rico should be independent. There should be no more colonialism in the modern era. We have no business attempting to control some other foreign nation of people from far away. That's just wrong. Let them go.

Come back when the PR economy is doing well and they vote for statehood.
Follow also the American hedged funds and American contractors that have benefited from the debt and the legal framework that difficult PR to get out of debt. Or why there is zero support to audit the debt and hold accountable everybody involved. That is what the people of Puerto Rico have been demanding

Agree in part. But the right to self determination as explained in UN Resolution includes annexation to another country as one of the ways to exercise the right to self determination. Independence and Free Association are also valid recognized ways to exercise the right the right to self determination. I don’t oppose independence and I don’t oppose statehood either. Both are valid options.

There were no immigration laws back then and no native Americans either. Everyone back then migrated here from somewhere else including the so-called natives. Everyone had the right to migrate here. Conflicts arose but the so-called natives warred with each other also. Not all Europeans were bad people either.

Oh yeah, blame the U.S. for Latin America and Africa's troubles. Such a typical cop out.

You need a history book ASAP . Start with How Europe Underdeveloped Africa. Read anything from Fannon too. Just give it try. Come on. I have faith in you.
