Why don't they wake up, glasses are not supposed to be worn on the end of your nose?

Bifocals were invented more than 250 years ago.

I wear bifocals and I still need to set those things on the end of my nose sometimes.

I don't understand ow Schummer's glasses stay on the end of his nose. It's all I can focus on when I see him on TV. Meanwhie, I have my glasses propped up on my forehead right now. I need bifocals, but am coming to terms with that before I actually get them
