Colin Kaepernick knows he is done as an NFL QB. He doesn't want the hassle of playing, and reinforcing he is a poor performer. At this point he enjoys playing the victim, and raking in money form Nike and other sources to be a Soy Boy SJW political activist, and nothing more.
Not that I really care that much for either side in this game, but many poor performers make lots of money.
A backup QB is not good enough to be a no. 2 QB. They need to be good enough to potentially carry the team forward in the future. Kap may be a good backup but not worth a spot that a future no 1 QB might occupy.
Still?
Around 5 quarterbacks are out after 2 weeks and still no offer, he is better than some of the talent filling in next week.
There are backups that never threw a pass in the NFL, there should be a spot for him now and this is just week 2. All those felons don’t seem to be a liability so why not CK.

When people stop watching because of the felons and wife-beaters, then they'll be considered a liability, too.
He's a liability and so far....no owner wants to take him on because of it.
He had a right to protest in the manner he chose. They have a right to ban him from their teams because of it.
Adrian Peterson beat his kid, is nowhere near the elite level he use to be and is playing
And how many viewers did they lose because of it?
You guys keep banging the same drum, but you're not comparing apples to oranges. It has nothing to do with which act is more egregious, it has to do with loss of revenue.
