Race has nothing to do with fertility rate. There are very few countries who are maintaining the replacement rate of 2.1 children per woman.
Incentivizing women to have children is not a workable idea. Once women discover that they need not have several children, they don't! I don't blame them.

Long term - looking out 50 or 75 years - the world's population will begin to decay very rapidly. No matter what happens with immigration policy and organic population change, I think we can expect the government to get it wrong and make it worse. In other words, we may see a day when we are begging for new workers while being hamstrung by a government unable to make any adjustments to the policy we are now forming.

You people are looking at 1/2 of the problem. Illegals will not only work at sweatshop wages they will also live 4 adults to a 1 br apt. Americans cant work 4 jobs at once so in cities like los angeles and san diego americans live on the streets in tents unwilling to work minimum wage jobs that wont even put a roof over their heads.

Yes, it does. There are not enough working people to fill the jobs looking for employees.

There, I fixed that for you. It's a labor shortage for those whom seek to pay 'em low and work 'em like a dog. If they paid more, and provided a better place to work, the level of applicants would rise. The so-called "shortage" would cease to exist.

I just don't see why people don't get this exceedingly simple concept.

Well Trump did say we would get tired of winning.Only it's the greedy corporations that pay crap wages whining this time. There are plenty of employees out there who would work for a fair wage but the CEO and shareholders would hate that.Trump cares more about the average American than greedy business and their illegal workers.Trump was right again.

Because you offer no facts to back that up?

Here, this should help you (and no, it doesn't support your stance): https://www.cbsnews.com/news/these-a...bor-shortages/

"plenty of workers" only serves to suppress wages.

When you have a shortage of workers wages rise as business competes with each other for labor.

We have a shortage of skilled labor especially skilled blue collar but millions of illegals will not fill that space.
