My city paper did a poll( not scientific, just interviewed people and took an online poll ) between the two and it came to about 85% preferred the Chick Fil A over the new Popeye's sandwich at 15%. I've read the taste tests on popular chicken sandwich's and the bias against Chick Fil A is real. Which is stupid, people need to get over themselves. Liking a good chicken sandwich is not homophobic but intolerance against peoples religious beliefs IS phobic.
I tried the old McDonald's chicken Fil A knockoff several years back and it was a decent second choice. But they stopped making it and we have a Chick Fil A nearby so it was no loss. McDonald's doesn't have good iced tea and waffle fries anyway. And no spicy chicken.
I'd like to try the Popeye's but it is said to be sold out and its across town. So.... nah.
Wendy's does a good spicy chicken. Its at least big and maybe not as spicy, but good. Arby's also does a very good buffalo chicken and a chicken cordon bleu sandwich. But their fries are their weak spot. Not a fan of curly fries.
And KFC sucks across the board.

This atypical liberal loves himself some Chick-Fil-A. I've had Popeye's chicken before. I don't need to try one of their sandwiches because their chicken sucks.
