Yes, and I'm sure Jesus, God and the Wall would be invoked. It is pretty hilarious when Trump starts reading melodramatic religious BS off of scripts like "devouring the soul." I would love love love for just one reporter to ask him what that meant, on the spot.

King is a white supremacist--Trump doesn't go around insulting his base.

And Steve King's congressional district happened to be the strongest in supporting Trump.

I agree that it's an East/West divide. Eastern Iowa is more industrial than western Iowa. Western Iowa also has more of an evangelical influence relative to the rural areas of eastern Iowa.

Hmm, that sounds a bit... dubious. My understanding is that when males are stronger it is usually so they can drive away competition for mates. For each species, the more female mates a male typically keeps, the stronger and more dangerous the male generally is compared to the female. Gorillas and Lions would be examples of such.

One has to wonder who votes for him. I notice he doesn't have the support of the rest of Iowa, just his district.

Steve King is one of the most true-hearted stewards of the authentic GOP brand. I believe Mr. Trump should ditch that RINO Mike Pence and tap into a real republican like Steve King, Kris Kobach or Donnie Bolena.

What makes him so true-hearted in your mind? And why should I be on board with someone like Steve King?

Well, he knows that racism works against whites as much as blacks, and he is not afraid to call out the people at our southern border as being invaders. He knows a woman's place is in the house (serving her man). In other words, he is a "true" republican.

Time to clear out those Swamp Rinos, like Moscow Mitch, and make way for some real-deal GOPers.

This is a man who has ties to white supremacist groups, and has made bigoted comments towards Blacks and Hispanics. As a Black man, I have every reason not to support Steve King. I'll support a Republican provided that said Republican does not make incendiary comments towards my ethnicity. I'll support someone as long as they don't support or have ties to white supremacist groups.

Why should I support King?

I am not saying I support him, or that you should either. I am just saying he is a standard bearer of the republican party.
