The 2nd Amendment neither grants nor protects rights. Gun ownership is a property right, and property rights are absolute. No one has the right to tell another person what they can and cannot own.
As all militias should be private, it would up to them who they admit.
And all militias should be “well regulated” - as in WORKING PROPERLY - not overly managed or burdened by inept, bureaucratic nincompoops.
The US military murders multitudes more people than all murders committed in this country.

Still on the bright side, since the 1988 ban, the UK hasn't had had any more idiots carrying out massacres with legally owned M1 Carbines and Type 56 semi-automatic rifles (a Chinese version of the AK-47).
Most would be fine regulating any semi automatic rifle and banning high capacity mags.
Most don't know d!@k about guns and that assault weapons don't exist and assault rifles are heavily regulated and damn expensive. The semi-autos I own use a standard magazine it was designed for, 20 rounders. So again what is high capacity?

It doesn't matter how many people in this country support an assault weapons ban. The NRA has told Trump no, and that's that. Shame people don't actually represent the constituents who put them in office.

You don't really expect a coherent reply to this? Remember that the gun whacks believe that all guns, no matter how lethal, no matter the rate of fire they can produce - should not only be legal but should be propagated to as many people as possible.
They will never come out and admit it but what it comes down to is that they place the value of their selfish desire to own these weapons over the value of human life. Of course they cloak this sick viewpoint in the trappings of the Constitution; they will protect us from government tyranny, need them for protection, need them for deer hunting, blah, blah, blah. We've heard it all a million times.
The way they look at it is that the odds of anything bad happening to them or theirs from someone using the weapons they worship is highly unlikely. It will surely happen to someone else.
The fact that you don't like them is apparent and the fact that you know absolutely not one damn thing about guns or how the Constitution works is equally apparent.
