Can you cite a specific example of Democratic leadership defending Omar or Talieb in antisemitic behavior? Legit question, I may have missed it.

Yet we fork billions of aid to them, when we run extremely high deficits already.
This is a myopic view of the relationship between the Arab world and the western world. Even if Israel never existed, we would still be hated by the Arab world. It is a clash of civilizations from 2 different time periods. It is 21st century western culture vs 8th century Islamic culture. If you put a bunch of cavemen in a time machine and transported them to our time, and let them loose, there would be problems.

Pew research did a study that showed that 90% of Egyptians (you know, the “reasonable” Muslims) believe that the penalty for leaving the religion should be death. They throw gay people off of roofs. They stone women to death for the crime of “allowing” a man to rape them. Women’s hair (and most skin) needs to be covered up, so the men don't lose self control and rape them. Women are basically slaves.

As long as there are free societies left in the world, they will be hated by the Arab world, because to them, we are the enemies of Allah.

Does it bother them even more that, right in their neighborhood, there is a place where people are free to be whatever they want to be? Wear what they want to wear? Where women can be Prime Minister and gay people can openly be gay? Where people have freedom of speech, and are not killed for drawing cartoons?

Sure it does! It bothers the crap out of them! That kind of society is right next door to their “perfect”, oppressive, holy land? They don't want to tolerate that stuff thousands of miles away, let alone right in their neighborhood. So if they hate us a little more for our support of that, I am OK with that, but dont think for a minute that if we didnt support Israel, the hate would go away.

Yes. Nancy Pelosi defended Omar's antisemitic trope about Jews buying off Congress. What did you think her nasty remark about "it's all about the Benjamin's" referred to? She was advancing the antisemitic idea that Jews control government with their all-powerful money. Look up the Rothschilds in case you're not familiar. It's an antisemitic attitude that has been tossed around for hundreds of years.

And before you explain away that Omar wasn't referring to Jews, ask yourself if liberals would have been so quick to explain away bigoted comments about blacks, or Muslims, or gays. But Jews? Eh, who cares?

You are generalizing an anti-semetic comment by one congresswoman. No one defended her comments and the house leaders issued an apology as did Omar. You didn't read the statement they issued.

We are and will always be strong supporters of Israel in Congress because we understand that our support is based on shared values and strategic interests. Legitimate criticism of Israel’s policies is protected by the values of free speech and democratic debate that the United States and Israel share. But Congresswoman Omar’s use of anti-Semitic tropes and prejudicial accusations about Israel’s supporters is deeply offensive. We condemn these remarks and we call upon Congresswoman Omar to immediately apologize for these hurtful comments.

I would bet you never defended what happened to Muslims in our country, never criticized Trump's ban but here you are defending Israel banning a visit by congresswomen..

The House refused to issue a resolution condemning antisemitism. They were so afraid of offending Muslims (and perhaps the half million followers of Farrkhan) that they refused to condemn Jew-hate! Instead, they watered it down with a weak "bigotry against everyone is bad" resoution, and what did Omar do with that? She issued a press release to her constituents calling it an anti-Islamophic resolution, essentially claiming victory. She didn't even acknowledge that it was her own bigotry that led to the resolution in the first place.

And remember: Omar was called in the csrpet by Jewish leaders in her own district the summer before her election for antisemitic comments. She can't help it. It's in her nature.

There is a pervasive PRO MUSLIM attitude in the Democrat Party, and Media today. To advance that agenda is a growing anti Jewish movement where these statements, views, and potential policy are not only "tolerated" but needed to achieve their goals. More Muslims in the U.S., more Democrat voters. Same reason they want Open Borders and more illegal aliens.

The ironic part of all this is that Secular Progressive Jews are fine with this or choose to ignore it. They identify more with being a Progressive Democrat, possibly from Eastern European Bolshevik roots, than they do being Jewish.

What happened to Muslims in our own country? There was no Muslim ban. Most Muslim countries had no restrictions on them - just the one that breed terrorists.

And Israel banned two antisemtitic Congresswoman whose express purpose was to run an anti-Israel propaganda campaign, with the ultimate goal to help destroy Israel entirely. And besides, their itinerary said this was a delegation to Palestine. (Wherever that is.) If they wanted to visit Palestine, they should have gotten a visa from Palestine.

I tried to rep you, but couldn't.

I'll be raked over the coals for this, but I think secular, progressive Jews are the only group to vote against their self-interests.
