You import people from third world countries, you get their diseases. This is why airports are so picky about you bringing in produce or having been in contact with farm animals but for PC reasons cannot be picky with actual human beings.

Nice try, but epic fail. The article said it's the same strain as viruses in California, Michigan and Louisville, it doesn't say the outbreak originated in California.

At what point does the government go in there and clean up those dumps of cities? The city councils are letting their districts become overrun with poop, drugs, and bums. It’s becoming a public health hazard and a danger to us all.
According to your link it is typhus, not typhoid fever, which are two different diseases.
Typhus is transmitted by fleas. Typhoid is fecal/oral transmission and can spread through food or water.
