This will end up like a wish on a monkey's paw. Watch the true screeching begin when articles of impeachment are passed and the trial is held in public. When you make a deal with the devil, the devil always gets his due.
Childish ranting by republicans and I see they brought their cell phones into the secure SCIF which is prohibited. It appears they will be in some trouble.
Personally I think this impeachment is a bad idea.
Not that I have any sympathy for Trump. I hope he's found guilty of treason and then the sentence is carried out in the most unpleasant manner possible.
But we're coming up on an election. It'd be hetter for the country if Trump was defeated fair and square at the ballot box. That would be a better solution for everybody even if Trump walks free.
Remember how Republicans held closed-door meetings and then impeached Billybob via a perjury-trap?
What goes around comes around
There are Republicans already in these meetings. They are not excluded.

Democrats have been trying to keep Republicans out because they want those testifying to profess without being questioned. The better question is why are Democrats trying to keep them out? This just looks shady on their part which is bad because they're the ones who wanted this inquiry.
