A male nurse was seen walking outside the cell and hearing the woman's cries for help and he and several other employees ignored them. The sheriff's department says they took appropriate actions under the circumstances, but they have since changed their policy. If their policy was appropriate, why did they change it?
I hope she collects big time. Law requires them to give medical treatment to a prisoner. They should all be arrested. If the woman and/or baby would have died, they could be facing manslaughter.
This is unbelievable. I can't imagine how this poor woman didn't get the medical assistance she needed. I hope she sues the hell out of them. There was no excuse in this.

This woman laid on the floor and screamed and a nurse watched from outside the cell and would not help her.

Yikes. Sounds pretty mean to me. I hope that male nurse is never able to work again.
