Well if we were talking about vaping then I’d be concerned. People think that Vaping is lore in the realm of Nazis and Concentration camps right now.

That's all this is. Congress reminding you that they can make you a criminal any time they please, and GFYourself if you don't like it.

Ah, possessing the monopoly on force and violence. The ultimate power.

at this rate, dims will have kids voting while still in diapers but they won't be able to legally drink or smoke until they're near retirement.

Here’s some things they could do instead of raising the age:

1. Subject vape advertising to the same restrictions that cigarette advertising is subject to.

2. Limit nicotine levels to what’s allowed in the UK, the EU, and Israel.

3. Ban Juul specifically while leaving all other vapes on the market.

Good, it'd be better if it also raised the voting age to something like 25.

Raising the smoking age, too funny.

Laws prevent nothing, are easily broken and this one is laughable.

May as well be a miss America contestant and proclaim your support for world peace and an ened to hunger.

This legislation shows the total irrelevance of elected legislators and their twisted logic that it will reduce the population of pre 21 smokers form smoking.

Waiting for the august body of legislators to pass a law making it illegal to get cancer.

Nanny state.

Its one thing with drinking where they have proven going from 18 to 21 saved thousands of lives from auto accidents. Can they prove that starting legal smoking at 21 will save that much over doing it at 18? And how many will it impact other than the smoker. Drinking and driving killed lots of un-involved people.

Pretty stupid bill aimed at appeasing uptight helicopter parents.

Maybe they can pass a bill next protecting coddled children whose parents failed to teach them an ounce of self responsibility and independence?

Right? I started smoking at 13, the legal age to purchase was 18. Never had a problem getting cigarettes or alcohol when I was under age neither did any of my friends.
