How did the left and beyond that the Democratic Party manage before AOC took office 8 months ago?? They had other leaders. Including official leaders.


There were almost 66 million adults who voted for Hillary Clinton. How many know or care what AOC thinks? 10-20%? I rarely check what she is saying or doing.



There are 279 other Democratic Senators and Congresspersons. With few exceptions, they are not "following " AOC. I'll check what some of them are saying / doing. Usually the leaders with positions and track records of elevated influence with peers and maybe even accomplishment.



Call me when AOC passes a significant bill in the House, much less passes one into law.


Yeah she has a significant voice, especially in the media / internet. Maybe she pushed the rhetoric of the Presidential campaign left. But when it comes down to details and actions, I don't know that she will be anything more than on sidelines. At least for next few years.
