And this comes just two years after they purchased an $8,100,000 mansion in a fancy Washington D.C. neighborhood:

I guess all those talks about reducing carbon footprints and rich people living too extravagantly was all just B.S.? They're definitely the most disingenuous liars to ever leech off our political system.

I'd like to know where they get all this money. Selling a couple of books can't be that damn lucrative.

I think you might be right.

Wonder how much the Obamas will charge guests to eat a meal or stay the night at their new home.

But Trump isn't telling people to lower their living standards like the Obama's have been.

I’m not sure a former President can reside in a small home with little space between houses. With all the security requirements and guest that cannot exactly be safe at a holiday inn when visiting, I imagine you have to buy a huge property with rooms for security and guest.

I’m not stating anything you didn’t already know.

President Trump became wealthy long before he became President, by way of successful business adventures, development, management, investments, etc.

Obama became wealthy during but primarily after being the POTUS.

Nah, he got a lucrative deal from a book publisher, don't be mad just because Trump can't speak or write coherently.

Most of it came from book deals:

It's not unheard of for people to gain money from their popularity. *cough*Kardashians*cough* Despite what the right might think, he remains a popular ex-President.
