Umm Seth Moulton is in the House of Representative - he's my rep and has served the 6th MA district since 2014. His plan is to focus on re-election to his current seat in 2020.
robr2, you're right. I don't live in MA anymore but I remember him as being a good person and knew that he was organizing veterans. Maybe one of these days he could be a senator. We need more like him.
.
Sorry to see him drop out. As a moderate Democrat I wanted to hear more from him. I do think he is a tad young (39 yrs I think) to be running...though I'd take him in a New York minute over Trump.
I hope to see his name again in national politics in the future. Perhaps Gov or Senator first and then another run for the WH.
Served his country in a hazardous war zone - something Trump dodged 5-6 times for severe malady (bone spurs). Americans, including this idiot in the WH, are clueless, aren't they?
From what very little I know about Seth Moulton, it's too bad he dropped out. He seemed like he might have been one of the more reasonable ones. So what's he been doing since dropping out? How likely does anyone think it is that we haven't heard the last of him? What does anyone think his future holds?

He is continuing his service as a U.S. Congressman in Massachusetts's 6th congressional district.
There are far more ideologues in the Republican party than in the Democratic Party, though both parties have moved further to the right/left over the past two decades.
According to Gallup:
-73% of Republicans identify as "conservative" and 22% as "moderate" in 2018;
-51% of Democrats identify as "liberal" and 34% as "moderate" in 2018;

How is he perceived there? Is he generally well liked by his constituents? I'm just wondering why his presidential bid apparently didn't gain much traction.
Of course, being well-liked in Massachusetts is not necessarily an indication that one will be well-liked elsewhere. Often, it's quite the opposite, as more than a few Massachusetts pols have discovered to their detriment when they've tried to run for nationwide office. Do you think that this is the case here?
