When I was growing up, we never even heard of illegal immigrants.

The middle school boys mowed our lawn - gave them a chance to earn a little cash - until my little brother was old enough to do it. What's wrong with that?

Who is we that the democrat speaks for?

I have never hired anyone to cut my grass for me and doubt that I ever will. It isn't a need, maybe a want, but not a need.

I mean...some can. You can find the rare hard worker....but certainly not enough to do all the roofing in Florida after a hurricane.

I met a cable guy in Florida who had worked at the local window factory. He was an average white dude from the midwest who moved to Florida. He said he was promoted up the chain almost instantly...because he showed up and worked like a regular person. He said that the (largely white) factory workers there were notorious for drugs, booze, sloppiness and sloth....and that it was near to impossible for the factory to keep a decent workforce on a constant basis.

There is a reason "Andersen Windows" are from the north country.

Yeah, I agree - opposite racism. I see the brown dudes in 7-11 with their muscles bulging buying a drink and snack and have great respect. Then some "Florida Man" with tatts and a wife beater shirt walks in stinking to high heaven (often with kids) and loudmouthed....and I leave ASAP.
Once again, a leftist just proved my point. You call other people racist while actually saying something racist. All within the same sentence, no less.

In a lot of ways that is the truth. Significant portion of home health workers are from the islands. Roofers from Mexico. You canm only use the excuse "slave labor" so long. When many americans are willing to work for minimum wage and reject hard labor jobs that pay more there is only one conclusion.

Yep, first Democrats low balled out free market labor with slaves, then mass immigration from E. S. Europe, now mass illegals from latin America.

Sure poor whites have been in the USA for hundreds of years and still can't get their **** together whereas one of those eastern or southern European steps off the plane or boat and worked their asses off and within one generation their kids were doing well. Meanwhile the homegrown poor whites still can't get their **** together because their families suck.

Well if they have its because of republicans. I live in an extreme republican town. In the south. Every local roofing company uses mexicans. Seems GOP are hypocrites,
