Mann knows he faked the data. Producing it in discovery will expose his scam, so he took the hit on losing the lawsuit he himself filed against Dr. Tim Ball and will have to reimburse Dr. Ball for all legal costs and expenses Ball incurred defending himself against Mann's allegations.
Quote:
"The Supreme Court of British Columbia dismisses Dr Michael Mann’s defamation lawsuit versus Canadian skeptic climatologist, Dr Tim Ball. Full legal costs are awarded to Dr Ball, the defendant in the case."
Read about this earlier. Mann won't produce his regression data, because if he did, he would expose himself as a fraud and implicate all the fraudsters that have used his graph to either make themselves rich or extract taxpayer money from the US.
I'm glad he lost. He won't admit it, but he lost big. LOL.
I'm tired of leftists using science as a vehicle for their endless lies.
It's crazy that a researcher would refuse to divulge the methods and data behind their research, even when required by a court of law. Such a brazen flouting of scientific norms immediately discredits the researcher.

Pretty much. But that sort of thing is good for science -- studies needs to be based on reproducible results. The chart he produced, which omits the regional climate-variations of the little ice age and the medieval warm period, may well be valid. Hopefully this will drive more studies on a wider global scale of historical climate trends.

Here we go again. More coal industry-funded climate change denial.
Is that what they tell you to say at your favorite Starbucks in Seattle? So your phone and computer as well as almost everything else you have has no petroleum content either, huh?
