Nobody believes you. If you said they stayed home, maybe I'd believe you. But no actual Republican goes out and votes "straight ticket" for a party composed of certifiably insane lunatics.

Doesn't matter what you believe. Trump handed democrats the biggest majority in the House since Watergate

Yes, indeed. The same Gallup poll that also shows Trump's approval rating around 40%, and shows him losing to Biden, et al.

Yup. Give me my old tax rates under Obama. Small price to pay to get this white nationalist authoritarian nutjob out of office. Plus Obama ran smaller deficits

So if these people are still registered as Democrats, why haven't they changed their Party registration to Republican or Independents? You can Google the percentages. The latest is as of 2018 which still had registered Democrats outnumbering Republicans.

Here is the problem. The majority of states do not have Open Primaries. An Independent cannot vote in a Primary. Trump has a negative approval rating across the state. There is now going to be a Republican Primary. These Republican leaning registered Democrats, and Independents, will not be able to vote for another candidate opposing Trump.

Guess they had better change their registration so they can vote for another Republican if they are now right leaning, if they don't approve of TRUMP.

I was an Independent for over 30 years and this really bothered me not being able to vote in Primaries.

I won't give links...knowing that you are good at using "the google".....

Independents are 42%, Dems approx 30% and GOP closer to 26%

Another headline could be "only 1/4 of Americans like the GOP". Try that.
Testy, aren't we?

Democrats and Republicans are registering Independent and changing their political affiliation as to not affiliate with establishment Republicans. They will vote for Trump.
