As I posted on the other thread about Joe Walsh, what I've heard of him on his radio show reminds me of Joe Pyne.

You need to learn about Walsh. He's a political opportunist. He jumped on the Tea Party bandwagon when he was a self-described "moderate." Then he wanted alligators to keep illegals out. Yet he calls Trump anti-immigrant. He also thinks we have a white supremacist in the WH, yet HE has repeatedly used the n-word on various social media platforms, ostensibly to "prove a point." He's a gun-control advocate, too. Yet he's said he's "sick and tired" of the Sandy Hook parents. He criticized Trump recently for referring to the press as the enemy, yet he said the same thing two years ago.

Get the picture about his pesky political expediency problem?

Oh...and he's a deadbeat dad, too.

Walsh tweeted prior to the election that if Trump didn't win, Walsh was going to grab his musket and asked who was with him. lol

That's not the typical Republican voter. lol

Has Trump changed since he won? He's the exact same person and he's been a better president t han most of his voters expected.

A lot of conservatives thought he would end up being a liberal Republican.

Walsh believes in the Russia collusion conspiracy. So he's from a personality standpoint, he's a Democrat voter.

and a rep for you for the best laugh on City Data today. You are spot on only you forgot that he's a tea party Republican as well. I saw his apology for helping to "make Trump." I'm glad he's going to primary Trump along with Weld, but I wish Kasich "Republicans are in a coma" would primary Trump as well. So far two primary challengers, a bunch of criminal investigations, an economy teetering, and an impeachment inquiry. It will be interesting to see how "the chosen one" fairs in 2020.

Exactly what Trump did for years. Trump is the ultimate money-grabber and attention grabber, as you well know.

It's no secret that Trump initially ran for election to enhance his brand appeal and his profits, not to win the office. He also previously stated that he might be 'the only one in history to run for president and make money doing it'.

Anyone who supports Trump against Joe Walsh at the very least needs to acknowledge these facts. The criticism you offer seems more like projecting, BTW a common response from Trump supporters to all types of critiques.

So why is Trump so eager to get re-elected? Here's a hint: it's not for any altruistic motive. It's not for you and I that he is running again, it is to stay out of the Federal Penitentiary system.

What I see now is a Republican party stirring. It is looking at the post apocalyptic world where the party will have to live with the legacy and the shame of Trump, and it is trying to save itself.

If these challenges don't work, the party will go down like the Hindenburg at Lakehurst.

If you listen carefully you can hear walsh being crushed under the Trump juggernaut.

Love or hate him, Trump has mid 80s approval in the GOP.

At any rate, former Congressman Walsh is challenging Trump for the nomination.

Nothing new. Fox has always had anti-Trump reporters since back during the Republican primary debates. Most are still there. Shep Smith is just as liberal as CNN and NBC. Chris Wallace, who does do some good work, clearly leans left as well.

That sums up the entire Tea Party, which is why it failed. Too bad the crazy talk that arose from that movement is still with us. Our politics made a turn to harsh personal attacks as the norm during that movement. Add in the Birther stuff and it is now nut job city. That is still where we are now, Thanks Tea Party.

Careful, some blowhard may accuse you of supporting Michael Moore socialism and being taxed 90%, simply because you criticized the Tea Party.
