And why do you think that is exactly? Perhaps the media just reflects the sentiment of the population?

Realistically it takes 20 years for a presidency to be assessed. The decisions made by a President often have long term effects that cannot be fully known until a lot of time has passed. Obama is going to forever be associated with getting America out of the mess of the 2008 recession and for ACA. Trump is likely going to be assessed by his war on immigration and his trade wars. We will see.

Whatever division there is was mostly manufactured by the media.
