Why would she be? Should the Christians in this country be put to death if the have an affair because in leviticus it days the punishment is death? Why the double standard? Omar is an American just because you don’t like her religion you want to force her to follow a religious law rather than the secular laws that Christians get to follow whenever it suits them. Ahh there we have it. Someone who thinks they get to decide who is or is not American regardless of what the constitution says. It’s amazing how so many people like to chuck the constitution aside when they are feeling a little racist, xenophobic whatever.

The constitution can give out citizenship, it cannot tell me whom I to consider my fellow countrymen or countrywomen. Many of us don't consider Omar an American. She's a Somali, squatting here because her people cannot create a stable country over there.

I didn't put 2 & 2 together, didn't realize it was the same guy. Yeah, I don't give a rat's ass about the affair. However, the campaign fund issue may have just become more serious.

Rep. Duncan Hunter and his wife were indicted by Federal prosecutors for doing what Omar did -- using campaign finances for extra marital affairs and personal expenses. .
FEC requires itemized travel statements for expenses over $200. Omar only recorded lump sum payments to her boyfriend's LLC which is an FEC violation. There is enough circumstantial evidence to warrant in investigation by the FEC
