We're finally going to see Trump's tax returns? Finally? It should be the law for anybody running for President. Perhaps we'll see that happen now?

I am amazed that any one who truly loves this country would be opposed to these subpoenas. If Trump is compromised and in debt to Russian oligarchs tied to Putin the nation needs to know.
Generally speaking, investors do not personally guarantee any borrower will repay a loan. Dark money uses legitimate conduits to launder money and and maintain anonymity no different than legitimate sources of financing.

Deutsche Bank is a known global money launderer and serves as the conduit between the West and Russia, not too different than their major role in events that contributed to the financial crisis.

Have the loans to Trump’s Doral and DC post office properties been forgiven?

No it shouldn't.

There is zero reason for it.

Dems who did not read or understand obamacare legislation before they passed it, never read the material Barr released. are now going to scrutinize complex tax returns that the special council missed ???????????

Dems simply want to pull a Harry reid and generate false rumors about tax returns and loans to win an election.

Sincerity is one act the dems will never pull off. Dems have reached rock bottom as far as morality and ethics. Despicable party members.

As far as being owned by Putin, Obama fit that bill to a T. Far more evidence Obama and putin were in league to divide the US, deplete its military and destroy its economy.

Trump has been a thorn in the side of Putin while Obama was caught in a careless whisper. So the nonsense about trump being owned by putin is a delusional daydream.

Depends on the attached schedules.

Obviously there is stuff within that Trump prefers to not disclose.

He alone controls honoring his repeated campaign promises, or not.

Trump is required to make annual public financial disclosures and has done so. The issue with these disclosures is that the filer is not required to be specific as it relates to financial transactions. That X is reported as more than $50 million is meaningless when one is talking about $ billions.

Trump could have made clear during the campaign he was not going to release his returns and there was no legal requirement for him to do so. Instead, he deflected to being under audit and repeatedly promised to release once the audit was complete.

Once elected, he said never mind.

The left only wants the details which will allow them to attack people and companies doing business with Trump.

The end goal is to establish a list of targets in order to destroy people.

A couple of points.....

Will the tax returns provided to Deutsche Bank match up to returns actually filed with the IRS? If not does that constitute bank fraud?

Trump is already most likely guilty of tax fraud and perjury with regards to his handling of his fathers estate. He also is probably guilty of mis-stating asset values much more recently. Apparently he can't be prosecuting while being sitting president.

Hopefully we the public will be able to get some insight into Trump’s business dealings. If there are indeed Oligarch co signers this certainly would explain Trump’s slavish praise and affection for Putin. The idea that the Presidents sole focal point is on preserving his personal finances rather than working for the interests of our country at large is appalling.
