The Federal Bureau of Prisons was headed by Hugh J. Hurwitz, who was appointed by then AG Jeff Sessions. The bureau is controlled by the Justice Department, Hugh J. Hurwitz reported to AG William Barr who was appointed by Donald Trump. The buck stops there, the whole sordid affair is in their laps.

It is pretty clear who is responsible for neglecting to watch Epstein. No conspiracy theories needed to explain it.

First sentence is true, obviously, as he was alive for a second attempt. I have not seen reports where he alleged to have been beaten.

Weingarten told the judge that when he and other defense attorneys spoke to Epstein shortly before his death “we did not see a despairing, despondent, suicidal person.” Weingarten’s comments came during a proceeding where prosecutors were seeking the dismissal of child sex trafficking charges against the Epstein as a result of his death. More than 20 alleged victims of Epstein spoke or had statements read during the hearing.

They just reported last night that the judge in the civil case said lots of lives would be upended if they released the rest of the sealed documents in this case. I am betting Bill Clinton is one of them. Suicide, my a$$.
