There is a thread complaining about Trump Tweets. He tweets in order to override the negative propaganda from the propaganda media. Here is an example of tweets that will be ignored.

Will these facts be part of the climate debate tonight?

Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump

8 FACTS that #FakeNewsCNN will ignore in tonight’s “Climate Forum”

--------------

Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump

1. Which country has the largest carbon emission reduction?

AMERICA!

2. Who has dumped the most carbon into the air?

CHINA!

3. 91% of the world’s population are exposed to air pollution above the World Health Organization’s suggested level.

NONE ARE IN THE U.S.A.!

------------------

Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump

4. The U.S. now leads the world in energy production...

BUT...

5. Who's got the world's cleanest and safest air and water?

AMERICA!

--------------------

Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump

6. The Democrats’ destructive “environmental” proposals will raise your energy bill and prices at the pump.

Don't the Democrats care about fighting American poverty?

-------------------

Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump

7. The badly flawed Paris Climate Agreement protects the polluters, hurts Americans, and cost a fortune. NOT ON MY WATCH!

8. I want crystal clean water and the cleanest and the purest air on the planet – we’ve now got that!

In case you doubt #3 above... here's the map.

Ambient air pollution: A global assessment of exposure and burden of disease

We will get a web report from the propaganda media, but that's about it.

The article never says the US in totally within compliance of the WHO suggested levels.

Over 90% of People in the World Live With Air Pollution Above WHO Limit

Over 90 percent of the world's population lives in areas with levels of air pollution that exceed the World Health Organization's limits, the group said today in what the WHO described as its most detailed report on global outdoor air pollution ever published.

While the WHO’s standards for air quality are not legally binding, they are generally accepted by many in the international community.

...
The U.S. has a relatively low number of deaths attributable to ambient (outdoor) air pollution, with 7 deaths per 100,000 people every year, according to the report. But in China, that number is 70 deaths per 100,000, and Turkmenistan has the highest rate with 108 deaths per 100,000.

This is an interesting statement.

Tony Wexler, director of the UC Davis Air Quality Research Group, added that a major factor in producing dirty air is "development."

"When the U.S. was developing and going from now what we would say a 'developing country' to a 'developed country' in the fifties, we had incredibly bad air pollution," Wexler said.

Think about that. He is saying the air quality was worse 60 years ago than it is today. Not sure how they measured that from back then... but still, that's an amazing statement.

I don't understand why we are even listening to any of the rotgut false hysteria in this country. We should continue on our current path. Those of you in the AGW/CC religion need to do "missionary" work and preach the gospel of climate change in other countries where the air is much worse.

Common sense isn't very common any longer.....

"According to a 2009 report, around "60 percent of Americans live in areas where air pollution has reached unhealthy levels that can make people sick"....

Are you going to claim you don't know a lot of people with asthma?

The air in the USA, in general, IS CLEANER due largely to the EPA and the regs! Cars are 40X as clean......while if people like the above said "stay the course" in 1970 we'd be in horrible shape!

What you are saying is really two things.....

1. It's working - the steps we take to FORCE cleaner cars, power plants, etc. taken together ARE making the environment cleaner.

and, the not-so-nice part

2. We "offshore" much of our pollution - the stuff we all use that is made elsewhere is often hurting OTHERS...but a direct link of responsibility comes back to us and/or the corporations and trade agreements.

Maybe we should agree on these simple facts. Cracking down big time on air pollution saved us....from millions of diseased citizens and earlier deaths. We cleaned up entire rivers and harbors....but there is always more work to be done.

We have GOP States like Florida where things are going backwards because they refuse to step into the present...let alone the future. As a result they are killing, with pollution, the goose that laid the Golden Egg (Red Tide, massive fish kills, poo in the water, flesh eating bacteria, fresh water algae blooms and more)......

10 years ago from an unnamed report.

Asthma can be caused from the following...
Allergies
Food and Food Additives
Exercise
Heartburn
Smoking
Sinusitis
Medications
Weather
Smoke
It's not just related to air quality and weather.

Go and preach the climate gospel to other countries. Acknowledge the FACT that we are in a good place.

In the Puget Sound region, air pollution levels have significantly improved since the introduction of emissions testing of vehicles. Things are getting better, at least in some regions.

Yep - but it all gets thrown in the same bucket in the attempt for environmental control and collecting fines.

My point is to go and deal with those countries. We aren't aren't the problem.
