Crime-ridden San Francisco has introduced new sanitized language for criminals, getting rid of words such as “offender” and “addict” while changing “convicted felon” to “justice-involved person.”

Since one of the founding principles of the US system of justice is 'the second chance'...its about time a city started doing this!

Ive said before, we need to have it so crimes drop off someones record automatically, felonies every 7 yrs and misdemeanors every 5 yrs, we CANNOT hold a person to their crimes FOR LIFE!!

Dont even get me started on 'drug addicts' either...one only needs to read up on why the war on drugs was originally created to understand why this is going on today, no one ever talks about how ALL these illegal drugs consistently enter the country and reach their destination (that does not happen by luck or coincidence. LOL)

So now a convicted felon is called the same thing that the judge in the courtroom is called???

Makes complete sense to me.

This should definitely solve SF's crime and homelessness problems. The liberal government can pat itself on the back now.

Rapists will be called genetic progenitors. Murderers will be called life extinctionists.
