House Republicans are calling on House Oversight and Reform Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings to schedule a hearing with Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz to evaluate his scathing report on former FBI Director James Comey and his misconduct.
Certainly we should all agree that we do not want to see this sort of outrageous hyper-partisan irresponsibility and misuse of power at the very highest levels of our federal government law enforcement agencies.
Two of President Trump's most fervent House allies are calling on the House Oversight and Reform Committee chairman to schedule a hearing promptly with Department of Justice (DOJ) Inspector General Michael Horowitz, the day after Horowitz released a scathing report about former FBI Director James Comey violating the bureau's policies.
Rep. Jim Jordan (Ohio), the top Republican on the Oversight committee, and committee member Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) asked Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) on Friday to schedule a hearing with Horowitz to discuss his report's findings.
“In light of the great costs to our country stemming from Comey’s reckless conduct, we respectfully request that you immediately schedule a hearing with Inspector General Horowitz to examine the OIG [Office of Inspector General] report about Comey’s misconduct," they write in a letter released Friday.
Surely Representative Cummings will want to get this hearing scheduled as soon as is reasonably possible. Am I right?

No he didn't... the Inspector General stated Comey broke many statutes but Barr is going after Comey for other crimes. Horowitz sent over a referral.
Ridiculous. The report is a joke. Nothing there we didn't already know, and Barr and Graham have blown enough money on investigations. All to make Donny feel better. Cannot wait until there is an adult in the WH.

Nowhere near the same amount they wasted on the Trump/Russian witch-hunt that they knew was going to amount to a nothing burger all along and yet continually lied to the American people.
