Are you pro traffic deaths or pro getting rid of cars?

There are probably 35 million guns in Texas that haven't been used to shoot anyone.

100% safe? Since when did Americans feel 100% safe? Certainly not since America was never the same again since 1966 when a sniper went up in the Texas Tower and shot dead 14 people and wounded 31.

Well, if you quite passionately believe absolutely everybody must have the right to buy and possess a gun without restrictions, unless in jail or prison, you might as well be pro mass shooting. I'm sure plenty of 2nd Amendment supporters pretty strongly feel your rights to guns must be restored as soon as you're released out of jail or prison even if you were convicted of robbing a bank with the use of a gun.

So if 5,000 people in TX die this year from mass shootings or any level of shooting, it's not really that much to be too concerned about, since there are so many people in Texas, close to 30 million. If 5000 people die from car accidents this year in Texas, it's not really that bad, either.

Ownership of any item isn't a crime in any real sense.

I lived in TX for a (really awesome) year and would absolutely believe this.

So control evil people, not guns. Good luck with that.

Right.
What if a mass shooter wants to blow your head off, but you're at a public gathering, not at home and don't have your 401-K with you?

Maybe now fools will stop the "white boy" comments. Alabama black man opens fire at a football game just about the same time as the Texas shooting. https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile...football-game/
