Losing a manufacturing job that paid well to end up at Wal Mart is not a higher standard of living.

And usually when these products went to China the price stayed the same and quality dropped.

It isn't. Read the link in the OP. The former Fed guy is urging the Fed to not bail out Trump.

1/2 true.

A lot of it isn't by choice. When the floodgates opened up and the box stores went China that screwed the whole country. If you're a contractor are you going to tell someone you can't finish their plumbing or turn the electric back on for 2 days while you wait for quality USA parts in the mail? Of course not.

You're going to buy what's on the shelf. If you're lu ky you can use a supply house that might have better stuff. And the quality USA parts are often about the same price as the Chinese junk at home Depot.

Its always been a problem, they've done it for years. Didnt seem to bother you until Trump. Why? Because you were unaware. Your thinkers didnt program you then.

It makes sense. Trump is the main threat to the US economy right now with his tariff war. The mission of the Fed is to protect the US economy. So defeating Trump would further that end.

Not true..... the use of social media and targeted advertising is a newer phenomenon. As are many of the nutter websites that target low information, non-critical thinking voters. Present company excluded of course.

Of course. It is the job of the fed to preserve our economy. The best thing that they can do toward that end is to let Trump destroy the economy, lose the election, and be replaced by someone who is actually qualified and capable of doing the job. What is wrong with that?
