People waiting on a hurricane are not sitting around waiting for weather alerts from the president.
As long as they have power, they are watching their local weather station.
After that they rely on cellphone alerts or weather radios.

Based on his past track record, I'm guessing he's not going to be very good at it. Not sure I even believed a lot of what he said. He has a really sleazy NY vibe to me.
Not really buying that a lot of electable Republican candidates are cowering behind him. CNN leftists are really lapping it up though aren't they lol.

If President is improvising on his own weather forecasts, causing NWS to issue corrective statements, then fighting with media and MWS about it, THEN coming up with a doctored hurricane map to double down on his nonsense - then YES, that IS undermining NWS who has the actual expertise on this (and his own credibility).
And yes, it is nuts.
So why do you defend it? You do realize, don't you, that you can be a conservative and not defend all of Donald's bizarre behavior at the same time?
What was the rationale for funneling disaster aid to Alabama? Was it because his support is so fervent in that state? Isn't this corruption, plain and simple? Seems pretty obvious, but what is it about that state that he wants to reward?
