I’m sure the next thing be to knock down the Statue of Liberty - that is the symbol America stood for - but now you folks can replace it with a big statue of an Ak 47 or something similar surrounded by a steel wall.

About time. These "refugees" sometimes pass a 100 countries along the way to be shipped and dumped in the US. They often come from not just non-Western regions but anti-Western regions and constitute a huge eye sore and ear sore in whatever American town they're placed in, and they are an economic burden along with their typically many children they have here.

No poem on a statue dictates our modern day immigration laws and asylum policies anyway and it needs to be removed from that statue so that liberals will stop using that as blackmail for us to allow in every Tom, Jose, a Ahmad to enter at will. Things have changed from hundreds of years ago and that poem no longer reflects our needs today. Today we have quotas for how many foreigners we allow to come here and anyone with half a brain would understand the reason why. Bleeding hearts lack that understanding though as they have no brains just emotion.

Think you got it backwards. Liberals believe in that statue - freedom for all, Give me your tired, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free. the wretched refuse of your teeming shore , send these the homeless, tempest tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door.

This. Conservatives on the other hand believe that the U.S. should be a theofascist ethnostate not too different from the Muslim world, only with their holy book dictating the law of the land.
