Oh? How can this be!

Poll: Voters approve Harris VP pick, Biden gets image bounce

Democrats and Black voters broadly approve of Harris' elevation, as do a plurality of independents.

The early reviews are in for Joe Biden’s choice of Kamala Harris as his running mate, and it’s a hit with most voters — including key groups the Biden campaign hopes will solidify its lead over President Donald Trump.

A slim majority of voters, 53 percent, approve of Biden picking the California senator to join the Democratic ticket, according to a POLITICO/Morning Consult flash poll conducted on Wednesday, the day after the selection was announced. That’s significantly greater than the 29 percent who disapprove of Harris as Democrats’ vice presidential candidate.

And for the perception of Harris being a “leftist”?

Quote:
Voters See Harris as More Moderate Than Trump or Pence
While President Donald Trump and his re-election campaign have sought to brand Sen. Kamala Harris, the newly named Democratic vice presidential candidate, as a radical liberal, that framing is being met with some initial skepticism among voters, new Morning Consult/Politico polling shows.

The poll, conducted the day after former Vice President Joe Biden selected the California Democrat as his running mate, found that voters placed Harris just to Biden’s ideological left — and to the right of where voters placed Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) in a Morning Consult poll conducted early this year.

The Trump campaign’s attempt to frame Harris as a radical who would be the one actually pulling the strings in a Biden administration also faces another roadblock: Trump and Vice President Mike Pence are perceived as more extreme than either candidate on the Democratic ticket and, by a smaller margin, are further from voters’ ideal candidates, according to another ideological test conducted by Morning Consult last month.

The Wednesday poll of 1,990 registered voters, which had a margin of error of 2 percentage points, also found that Harris’ policy record — including her support for raising taxes on the rich and placing restrictions on gun ownership, as well as her implementation of racial bias training for police officers while serving as San Francisco’s district attorney — inspired the most positive reception.

At this point who would be shocked that the left would pander by parading this horrific prosecutor as a hero. Besides her incompetence and terrible stint in locking minority kids up, Tulsi gave the American people a glimpse of how easily Kamala is defeated in a debate. Pathetic racial pandering like always by the left that will land an easy win for Trump. This time is different, the easily influenced individuals say.

Ummm, well, apparently a clear majority disagrees with you ... as per the polling just posted previously to your protest.

That's not quite what he said, but never let it be said that an orangemanbadder went straight to the source when a partisan interpretation was available.

Speaking of sourcing ... perhaps you should consider the value of multi-sourcing and analysis of actions. In early July Trump passed the 20,000 fact-checked lies mark since he took office. Analysis: what “he said” means absolutely nothing ... what he is doing, means everything. What is happening at the USPS under the new leadership of a Trump super-supporter is an assault on democracy.

He admitted it? Gawd, he has no shame! I suppose he thinks that might get him more Repub votes?

The world has gone mad. Up is down. Down is up. Tampering with the democratic process is good. Democracy is bad. Black is white. Oh, no...oops. Black is still black, and unwelcome.

Yep, you heard it here first...oh wait maybe not. There are enough people who think Trump will win, especially after Biden's poor choice.
Everyone seems to forget that polls mean nothing once a person has voted in 100% secrecy, and that's how Trump won the first time. Lot's of people lied when they said who they were voting for...
Sweetie, we didn't hear that first from you there have been at least 50 other Trump sycophants posting on here warning us of how damaging Kamala Harris will be to Biden's campaign We appreciate your concern but with Trump at 41.5% approval and 54.6% disapproval I am not too worried .

And if Trump had a shot at reelection, he just blew it by trying to destroy USPS, my Republican sister-in-law in Missouri didn't receive her mail order prescription drugs on time and she's not too happy with Dear Leader

Then why don't you tell us exactly what he said?

Wow. This is what happens when you have a petulant child making decisions on national policy and funding.

Can't Congress over-ride his decision? Oh, right...we'd need the Dems to control both houses for that. Well, here's hoping! Another reason to get out the vote!
