Get ready for a deluge of anti-tobacco propaganda targeted towards liberals and anti-marijuana propaganda targeted towards conservatives. The goal of the powers-that-be is to get vaping eliminated and marijuana back to being 100% illegal.
Eliminating big tobacco competition. Its always about money.
Both parties have a problem with freedom. One boldly admits to it and the other pretends otherwise.
Yup... both are the same crap just choose to push different crap. At least one is admits it and I can argue regarding. The other freakin hypocritical lairs.
vaping has been medically found to be just as bad or worse than real cigarettes
hopefully teens will learn no to do either...dont start, it is too hard to quit
Still under debate... there are far more hazardous materials/components to a cigarette than the 4 ingredients in vaping; PG, VG, Flavoring, and (optional) nicotine.
The active ingredient, nicotine, is certainly poisonous at high levels (which you don't get vaping) and it is an addictive substance but not the contributor to cancer
Unflavored ones have no taste at all. I guess this is to keep kids away from them and if it works that's fine, but anyone with half a brain can flavor their own e-cig juice with very little effort or expense. The flavorings are USDA approved food flavorings this will give you an idea of what's available: https://www.lorannoils.com/flavor-fo...1-7-ounce-size
My best friend kicked cigarettes with e-cigs, that was about 10 years ago, long before Juul and the fancy devices were available, most flavorings were tobacco, i.e. Marlboro or Newport but she didn't like that so she bought the basics made her own e-juice and flavored it herself. Her favorite was "cappuccino" Overtime she used less and less nicotine until she quit altogether. It was remarkable because she was one of those people who I figured would be smoking while she was on oxygen if she lived that long.
Tobacco flavorings are pretty darn disgusting... I say this as someone who enjoys cigars. There is nothing similar about the two. I even had a sample bottle custom created by a store in town that claims to have the right formula... ugh.. dumped that quickly.
I think the cause of the recent deaths is probably due to ingredients that are assumed to be benign. Vapor is essentially aresolised vegetable glycerin, which is probably harming the lungs in some type of way from over use.
Since it's widely believed to be totally harmless, people are overdoing it.
Possible... but with 10 million US vapers, you would think there would be more cases that indicate so. VG is common across almost all formulas of e-juice. With a small number of cases, it would likely be a more isolated contamination of lesser common ingredient.
articles speak to the unknowns.. you claimed medically proven. No one is claiming vaping is safe but everything is relative. The first one states that ecigs probably have lesser risk to cancer.
Smoking tobacco kills far more people every year. Same with alcohol. The party in the white house is suppose to be the opposite of liberal move towards big government and running peoples lives. All lies and hypocrites.
I would support the move to bring them under the scrutiny of the FDA to assure that the ingredient labels are truthful, pipeline is treated with food safety, and measure are made to keep children out of reach. There are a lot of ejuices out there that are made in small house operations and sold via mail...

I just heard on the news that tobacco flavored ones will still be allowed.
I tried the patch for maybe 2 days. It must have fallen off because I found my cat wearing it. I probably ripped a few furs out of him taking it off. He was fine though

And yet I have been vaping for over 10 years and no lung problems whereas theses kids were vaping for a few months and are having major lung problems. That alone tells me that they aren't vaping regular PG/VG nicotine and flavoring.
