Except for those are at least 18 (sure, a teen might present a fake ID). I don't smoke or vape! There is a reason I can cigars "cancer sticks".

Well, I'm going to do a step down to eventually 0 nicotine, and then hopefully stop inhaling unnecessary crap. Thank you!

There has been media hype lately demonizing vaping, right at the same time I chose to switch, so I'd appreciate anyone's opinion on the matter.

Thanks!

I switched to vaping to help quit smoking as well. About 3 months in I landed in the ER several times because I couldn't breathe. Quit vaping and haven't had an issue again. That was 5 years ago. Still smoking, unfortunately, albeit lightly (less than 1/2 pack).

I highly recommend you watch Dave Chappelle's latest live gig. He sets that damn stupid ass "just say no" garbage straight. Just tell a heroine addict to say no! Just say no mister crack head! Tell an alcoholic to say no and see what happens.

Just say no is right in there with we're all winners.

Yikes! Thanks for sharing.

I think it depends on what "juice" you're using.

I wouldn't trust any from NYC.

What I'm using is from a lab in Ronkonkoma, if that means anything....?

I'm new to this; the vape shop I go to seems really legit, and I'll take the chance to get off smoking cigs!

I'm reporting, here on CD, that vape is a way off cigs.

I don't want the .gov to do anything.

Thanks.
Oh, ok.

Well, the media are corporate shills for the government. If they say up is down then you know down is up.

Just go with that for any and all things they "report" on.

You didn't quit smoking.

You just changed what your smoking..

And I say that as a former smoker myself.

Vaping is probably safer than smoking, but still bad for you.

yep. personally i've seen a lot of people switch to vaping in an attempt to quit smoking but have yet to see anyone actually do it.

i was a 1+ pack a day smoker from 13 to 39. cold turkey, wood chopsticks to chew on and a direct effort to replace habits when i'd normally smoke ( getting in the car, morning coffee, sitting at computer, etc ) worked for me. it took over a year to get past the cravings but it worked.
