So to whom was Mexico supposed to cut a check when Trump promised on his campaign website that Mexico would "make a one-time payment of $5-10 billion" to fund the wall?
What will Trump do when his self-glorification project reaches the Tohono reservation? Trump being the tyrant that he is will surely try to force these Native Americans off their lands as he did with the old lady in Atlantic City.
I have little doubt that Trump's supporter will have any issues with ejecting these Native Americans from their land, incarcerating them, or even sending the US military to wipe them out.

Beta has indicated that he'd tear down existing walls on our Southern Border, Joe Biden still hasn't figured out where this mythical border is or who these poor brown children being spoken about belong to.

Funny, how these liberals and ethnocentrics had no problem with the taxpayer funding the wall when the actual bill passed back in 2006 but now they cry about Mexico not paying for it? As was stated Trump never said that Mexico would write a check for it he said they'd pay through tariffs. In the meantime we need to get these good physical barriers built. Our Department of Defense is also responsible for the safety and security of our own borders so any funds used under that department not only make sense but are well needed for that purpose.

The money being diverted from the DOD has nothing to do with the pockets of our military service members, this is money budgeted for military projects in other nations and here. No soldier is going to lose pay because of our President increasing our border security, if anything they'll get paid to help instead of getting paid to live and serve on foreign soil.
I spent quite a few years of my life serving this country on foreign soil and I don't give a damn how bad our Southern border is, I would have loved to directly serve our nation and help Americans than fight overseas.
