I've always wondered why conservatives, and particularly conservative Christians, worship guns so much. It's interesting. Is it a machismo thing? Just curious. I get having a hobby or collecting guns or whatever, but worshipping them? What gives? Do these people have sex with their guns too?

How many have you met? Do you all meet at the local gun range? Maybe you all meet at the national NRA party? Most people want the rights to have guns but also dont want crazy people to shoot up malls and stores and schools regulary with them.

I am betting most these gun lovers haven't had relations with another person in a long time. We are on to something
Well, we are on to something here. Many conservative Christians believe in abstinence. Perhaps the gun is a substitute and helps them deal with sexual frustration.
I know a few but they are not the majority. Most people I know who own guns hide one in their house and don't post about it or worry about losing rights to them all day on a politics board. Of course I know many who don't own guns too.
