Never! reminds when CVS stoped selling cigarettes, only to keep an entire isle of hard liquor.

There’s literally 1000+ items Walmart sells that’s more deadlier than guns/bullets, alcohol and hammers being a couple of them.

How many people murder other people with alcohol? Is this some kind of pathetic attempt in justifying 30'000+ lives being lost every year in the US because of guns? You should be ashamed.

An estimated 88,000 people (approximately 62,000 men and 26,000 women8) die from alcohol-related causes annually, making alcohol the third leading preventable cause of death in the United States.

https://www.niaaa.nih.gov/alcohol-facts-and-statistics

Alcohol-impaired driving fatalities accounted for 29% of the total vehicle traffic fatalities in 2017. Between 1991 and 2017, the rate of drunk driving fatalities per 100,000 population has decreased 46% nationally, and 68% among those under 21. These statistics and others are positive indicators of the gains being made to fight drunk driving.

"How many people murder other people with alcohol?"

I can tell you this, there wasn't 30,000 murders attributed to guns either. Love it when Leftist try to sneak in Suicides as murder. No threat to me or anyone else if a person wants to check out early via Suicide, whether it's guns, pills, or jumping off a bridge. Their not called Lying Leftist for nothing.

Whichever way you look at it 30,000+ deaths by firearm is shameful, there is no arguing with that. By comparison we have around 70 a year here - and we still think that's 70 too many - still as long as its 'other' peoples families that are being destroyed by guns then who cares eh??

The difference is in terms of alcohol you are mainly damaging your own body, and it's your own choice.

In terms of gun massacres it's other people who are being killed.

Some countries have introduced minimum pricng per alcoholic unit to try and curb excessive drinking, whilst drink driving is a very serious offence in most countries.

Why aren't you also asking when every grocery will stop selling food as obesity kills more than all guns combined?

I guess you'd better ask when car dealers will stop selling cars too, eh?

The purpose of alcohol is not to kill some one. Guns serve only one purpose. To kill. If you do make the analogy of guns to alcohol why not have the equivalent of dram shop laws. If a liquor establishment can be held liable for serving you too much booze so should a gun dealer and manufacturer be held liable for selling guns to those that abuse them. Just like an adult can go to jail for serving alcohol to minors, an adult should go jail if their gun is used in a crime. We should allow counties and even states to go "dry". Maybe we should make gun laws just like alcohol laws after all and guns should be as highly regulated as alcohol.
