How many times over the past decade have you heard of temperature records being broken? It seems every year, every summer, there is news of some month breaking the record for the hottest ever, and a month later, the record is broken. This record is likely to be broken next summer.

Quote:
The average global temperature in July was 1.71 degrees F above the 20th-century average of 60.4 degrees, making it the hottest July in the 140-year record, according to scientists at NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information. The previous hottest month on record was July 2016.

Nine of the 10 hottest Julys have occurred since 2005—with the last five years ranking as the five hottest. Last month was also the 43rd consecutive July and 415th consecutive month with above-average global temperatures.

It's called Summer. I have two 3-ton units, plus a 1-ton in my shop.

Hopefully the Gulf Coast is the first casualty. Their water is brown and murky anyway, Biloxi won't notice until they are taking pontoons to the grocery store. Alaska is suffering the worst though and now that Trump's Environmental Polluting Agency is going to allow the destruction of Alaska's salmon in Bristol Bay, Alaska's going to go down the tubes fast.

High temperatures smash all-time records in Alaska in early July 2019

I always like this argument, like if the scientists didn’t know.

It is hot here in texas this summer, but I remember working outside one entire summer when the weather was as hot 40 years ago.

if ya are lucky enough to live in texas, heat is part of the price for living in such a wonderful state.

at least we don't have earthquakes!

That's weather, not climate.
