americans aren't required to agree with each other's beliefs. Only tolerate them. tolerance is different than agreement.
I don’t care what he believes and he has every right to be a bigot if he wants too, just because he’s having dinner with a gay couple doesn't make him less of a religious bigot.

The Irish were humiliated by Pence's visit and boy did the Irish press call him out on it. If I were a conspiracy theorist, I would think Trump is trying to permanently severe our links to our longtime European allies.

The funny thing is that the name "Pence" has the potential for many "penis" jokes.

Where's his Nobel Peace Prize for this while he undermines LGBT rights in America? What a f****** champion.

No one gives a crap what Pence says or does about gay people privately. But when's the last time it ever stopped there? Conservatives love attacking LGBT and taking away their rights, and it's happening in America now in part because Pence, like most religious people, doesn't understand the difference between a personal belief and minding their own business.

I'm gay and antiTrump. But I would have to admit the Trump Administration and it's supporters, well certainly not pro-gay, have largely left gays alone. Trans issues are a different matter. They have stonewalled the equality act, but havent actively fought to take away the tangible gains of recent years (marriage, don't ask, etc). Probably more importantly, there hasn't been the scapegoating and the demonization that there has been on race. The more vocal elements of the base seems to have traded social conservatism/homophobia for white nationalism.
