Yes, we have finally managed to get back to where we were before the Great Recession and the record shattering slow-growth recovery that followed.

Today, the E-P ration is 60.9%.

That means people that have been out of the workforce for many years are finally finding suitable employment.

I rather light it on fire than someone else lighting it on fire.... It's guaranteed that someone else wants to light it on fire....

Wait, I thought we were suppose to be thanking Obama as this economy is all his doing. That is of course unless it starts heading south, then he will say it is Trump from that point on.

Did you mean to link to another graph bc the one you're taking about shows a. we're NOT back to pre-recession levels, and b. Trump's growth is literally at the same trend that Obama's was.

Ave speaking of numbers that people tried to crucify Obama for... What's the current Labor Force Participation rate? I feel like if Trump was really fixing Obama's economy, there'd be a massive change. So what's the LFP rate?

To answer my own question about the LFP... https://www.bls.gov/charts/employmen...ation-rate.htm

So we're out of that "record shattering slow-growth", you say?

These stats I believe more over the employment or unemployment figures spouted out by some SJW liberal Flat-Earth mom-in-law that lives in a van down by the river with Seymour, a silent film-watching and Chris Walken-sound vegan cannibal zombie moose.

I would never hire anybody out of work for the past couple years in this economy.

Its interesting how America has far lower employment-to-population ratios than countries with far better public safety nets. In fact, the idea that a "socialist" public safety net leads to people getting lazy and stop working while a system with very poor safety net and "self-reliance" forces people to work, just doesnt hold up to scrutiny.

Just like the "trickle down" propaganda.

lol... if you're looking for a job, tell the interviewer you've been out of work for 10 years because you couldn't find a job. see how that works for ya!

The National Bureau of Economic Research, a panel of academic economists based in Cambridge, Mass., said the recession lasted 18 months. It started in December 2007 and ended in June 2009. ... The economy started growing again in the July-to-September quarter of 2009, after a record four straight quarters of declines.
