Mike Pence, Trump's loyal lap dog, visited Ireland and horrified his hosts. According to local newspapers...

Quote:
Missteps during Mike Pence’s visit to Ireland that included controversial praise of the British prime minister, Boris Johnson, have led to accusations of betrayal and “humiliation”.

One Irish Times columnist concluded that the vice-president, a “much-anticipated visitor”, turned out to have “shat on the … carpet”.

Hmm, more wins for team Trump?

The Irish Times columnist Miriam Lord responded to a tense meeting between the vice-president and the taoiseach, Leo Varadkar, in which Pence urged the republic to protect the “United Kingdom’s sovereignty”.
Oh yeah, that's how you get the Irish to open right up: Explain how they have to protect the UK's sovereignty. They love that. Did he order a Black-and-Tan while he was at it?

Thread title is obviously misleading, as no carpets were actually harmed during his visit. Waste of my time OP.

What, you're not up on your banter? Bally Jerry, pranged his kite right in the how's-your-father; hairy blighter, dicky-birded, feathered back on his sammy, took a waspy, flipped over on his Betty Harpers and caught his can in the Bertie.

Looks like hardly anyone showed up for Pence's unfortunate comments.

Trump is not liked in Ireland. That's why he sent Pence.

I spent 5 nights in a B&B outside of Ennis. The owners were wondering how we had elected Trump.

I told them it was due to the Electoral College and a minority of the population.

The Irish do not want to support the UK exit from the EU. They do not want to reignite the bad times.

Trump and Pence both fools. The Irish know it.

Trump won because the left chose to go all PC causing America to choose Trump.

Of course the rest of the globe is mad that we have a leader that doesn't put them first.

You have to laugh at the night and day difference in corporate media slant between the present admin vs. the last.
