No. Black people were treated like crap when it was Rhodesia. I've read about the history of "Rhodesia". When Zimbabwe was Rhodesia, Blacks were subjected to policies similar to Apartheid in South Africa. Rhodesia was good for Whites. It wasn't good for everybody. A country should be good for ALL of its people. I'm glad Mugabe is dead. Good riddance to that dictator. At the same time, I'm not in favor of bringing "Rhodesia" back. I don't think White farmers should have been kicked out of Rhodesia. That was a horrible thing to do. I'm also against the idea of bringing back "Rhodesia". Only a bigot who thinks of Black people as inferior would say such a thing as "Bring back Rhodesia". And if you think that way, that says alot about your thinking.
Arguably one of the worst transitions from colonialism in modern history.
Zimbabwe certainly did worse than other countries. I get not wanting to be anyone's puppet. However, what Mugabe did, it was ridiculous. Zimbabwe as a country could have done much better than Mugabe. I'm not with kicking farmers off of the land. Mugabe basically did the "land expropriation without compensation" thing. If I was leader of Zimbabwe, I wouldn't have kicked White farmers off the land. I would have worked to make sure the Black people of Zimbabwe would have their standard of living raised higher. I would have worked to make sure everyone has access to a good education, good jobs, and get people to build businesses.
Who knows, not that it matters. Any statistics coming out of parts of the world are meaningless although 30 does sound far fetched.
No country in the world has a life expetancy that low. Zimbabwe's life expectancy, when taking both genders in mind, 55 is the average life expectancy. The country with the lowest life expectancy in the world (that isn't in a war zone) is Eswatini, at 49 years.
Stop exaggerating. The average life span is around 60. Still bad but nothing close to what you claim.
It's closer to 55, but it isn't 30. And the country with the world's lowest life expectancy is Eswatini, 49 years. Only countries in warzones rank lower.
Yes, I read that between the lines also. Either that or a troll attempt.
It is not just reading between the lines. It is also about recognizing when someone beating around the bush. Beating around the bush is a type of trolling as well. Get very close to the point without actually hitting it.
