People who want to commit suicide should have that right; otherwise, the government owns our very lives.

I'm not that surprised you want government owning our existence.
OK, we get it.

You have no concerns that suicide by guns are highest in the world in the USA. Interesting.

And most of those people would find another way to die, just like in Japan and Russia. Besides, if someone is totally miserable, why should you prevent them from killing themselves?

Why the preoccupation with guns? Are you that afraid of them?

Because I actually care about the value of human beings, that all are worthwhile attempting to keep from committing suicide.

They're going to do it anyway. Guns provide a quick and fool proof means to do it. I wish no one comes to that point though......

Nope. In fact, I have a number. If you've read this thread, I use them for hunting, target shooting, and collection.

I don't own them "just in case I need to kill some fellow human being". That's just a silly reason.

And that EXACTLY is the problem. It is irreversible, it requires much less planning and time for reconsideration. One can reverse pills and even the idea of staying in a garage filling with carbon monoxide.

Even looking down from a tall building gives one time to reconsider.

It's interesting that you believe an inanimate object makes people suicidal.

Substitute "just in case I need to shoot someone to stop them from breaking into my house and raping my wife"
Now does it make sense? Or still no?
