Trump prefers for the US to be a non-interventionist. Many voted for Trump for exactly that reason, being tired of the Dems and Republicans who BOTH constantly beat the war drums. And even though it's always good to hear all sides when pondering foreign relations, Bolton was an odd choice, and it's a good thing that Bolton's contrarian attitude/opinion has been drummed out of the Trump Admin. He's too hawkish and beholden to the Military Industrial Complex's make-war to rake in the profits agenda.
Is that why Tucker Carlson was calling Bolton a “liberal”?

I find it quite dizzying to be informed by Tucker Carlson what I think when I have a very clear memory of thinking and saying otherwise.
If Tucker Carlson'a audience had a fact-based worldview, they'd not be listening to Tucker Carlson, would they? They now know, with full certainty, that Bolton was a left-winger all along. Just like the good followers of Ingsoc knew - absolutely knew - that they'd always been at war with Eastasia.
... Makes me long for the good ol' days when Bolton was seen by The Left as a war monger and the face of American Imperialism.
Now they evidently see him as the last non Nazi in the Trump Administration. His departure is now seen a serious blow to the effort at world peace. There will be war without him!
... All this in just a few days...
Where do you people come up with this tripe? Where are you seeing this? I've seen MANY claims in the thread of the like, but NO evidence to support it. If anyhting, folks on both sides seem to be glad he's gone, but some partisan hacks just can't see reality.

Tucker is right - Bolton is a man of the Left. As was Bush. And all the neocons in government today - they're all liberals.
So what's the story? Trump didn't know who he was hiring? I could see that.
