What's to acknowledge? We all know the courts have ruled, and the NRA has spoken. I accept it.
But, there are plenty of people adverse to Roe v Wade. Should they be discounted due to ignorance of the tools used?
The doctors who treat these shot patients have said the 70% of the people who died would have lived had a regular gun been used.
So I accept that mass shootings anyplace people gather are the collateral damage to gun ownership in the USA.
I would still put money on the fact that the majority of the millions of AR whatevers and the AK 47 owners wouldn't lift a finger to help a neighbor in distress.

Regular guns? An AR whatever as you say or AK or any other rifle is as regular as it gets. The type of firearm used does not effect ammunition performance. A 223 fired from a bolt action varmint rifle does exactly the same thing as one fired from an AR 15.
The AR 15 does not magically modify the ammunition put into it into some sort of highly destructive Star Wars sort of thing. Honestly, where do people come up with this stuff?

Note: I actually respect Yang's attempt at trying to mathematically and scientifically solve problems (he might be wrong but, at least he is trying). However, since Democrats are the party of identity politics he stands no chance. East Asian males are as low on that totem pole as Staright, White, Christian males.

at this point i think he'll say damn near anything to get his name in the news. his campaign is teetering on the abyss despite the tens of millions in donations he received.
