Contrary to what is said, radar is perfectly capable of detecting drones of that size. We're not talking about pocket drone here. Somebody knows where they came from even if they were not engaged. I would not rule out something other than drones. How about sabotage? The payload Iranian drones carry are not that large considering that they have to fly 600 miles.

Or is there going to be a new Global Law "only the USA and people it approves of can fly drones anywhere"....
Make no mistake - unmanned aircraft are the same type of revolution that effectively killed the battleship.
Wouldn't peaceful trade be the better way out of much of this?

We (the USA) have no business getting involved in struggles between those two Muslim giants half way around the world. We can not win in a dirty knife fight between Muslims, we only stand to lose.
I was against getting involved back in the days when the guy before Trump was prez. There's simply no getting around the geopolitical reality of Saudi Arabia being considered a close ally and the Houthi/Iran side a threat to our ally and therefore to the US.

I think the 'eye for an eye' approach is works better. Iran captures an oil tanker? 'We' take on of theirs. Iran attacks oil infrastructure? 'We bomb one of their refineries'. The only question is, who is 'we'? In my opinion SA should strike back (with US operational assistance). But the problem is that SA is reluctant to be dragged into a war. Maybe dial 1-800-ISRAEL for support?

The $150 Billion that Obama gave the Iranians, much in the form of currency, is surely being used by the Iranians to fund these terrorist attacks, which appear to be successfully destabilizing one of the most strategically important regions on Earth.
