A cruise missile is a drone....if we are going to use that word. Unmanned guided missiles of one sort or another.

No, as a swarm they are not able to be defended against. As a surprise they are not able to be defended against.

SA could spend a decade installing vast arrays around every single point of oil transport and refining....and then install some of those super-fast guns like they have on some warships, but just imagine the cost!

Then consider the old terrorist trick. Just do something else somewhere else after trillions are spent. How much did we accomplish with 6 Trillion in the middle east?

One guy in NZ built a cruise missile about 15 years ago - in his garage. Making small jet engines is very popular with hobbyists.

The whole problem with the drone game that we and Israel started is that anyone can play it. And if we are allowed to fly drones anywhere and to kill and bomb people with them, can't anyone do it? Or is there going to be a new Global Law "only the USA and people it approves of can fly drones anywhere"....

Make no mistake - unmanned aircraft are the same type of revolution that effectively killed the battleship.

Wouldn't peaceful trade be the better way out of much of this?

Your usual copy and paste of your hated news sources. Of course you don't have Fox News in that list. They are by far the worst when it comes to lying.

I was against getting involved back in the days when the guy before Trump was prez. There's simply no getting around the geopolitical reality of Saudi Arabia being considered a close ally and the Houthi/Iran side a threat to our ally and therefore to the US.

I think the 'eye for an eye' approach is works better. Iran captures an oil tanker? 'We' take on of theirs. Iran attacks oil infrastructure? 'We bomb one of their refineries'. The only question is, who is 'we'? In my opinion SA should strike back (with US operational assistance). But the problem is that SA is reluctant to be dragged into a war. Maybe dial 1-800-ISRAEL for support?

I don't watch Fox either, but please site examples of when they have lied. You can't.

While trump is being a big talker with his "locked and loaded" rhetoric, I have to ask why we don't leave it to the super wealthy Saudis to take on Iran.

I hope not another GOP war that breaks our bank!

Well done, Barack!
It didn't exactly take Nostradamus to see that one coming-rather it's here in Saudi, or slaughtering Israeli civilians.
