It is clear that one of the individuals in the NYT story did come forward but the FBI et al declined to seriously investigate. The underlying view would be that Kavanaugh was being protected by the Trump administration. At that point the lack of witnesses prior to the confirmation would not be surprising. But now they may well come pouring out.

except they haven't been
they only came out for a book, they didn't come out to law enforcement or anyone else
the story they are involved in is already being picked apart

Not true. From the NYT article...

We also uncovered a previously unreported story about Mr. Kavanaugh in his freshman year that echoes Ms. Ramirez’s allegation. A classmate, Max Stier, saw Mr. Kavanaugh with his pants down at a different drunken dorm party, where friends pushed his penis into the hand of a female student. Mr. Stier, who runs a nonprofit organization in Washington, notified senators and the F.B.I. about this account, but the F.B.I. did not investigate and Mr. Stier has declined to discuss it publicly. (We corroborated the story with two officials who have communicated with Mr. Stier.)

the supposed victim said she does not recall the incident
I don't see that the NYT walked back anything, the other woman was anonymous and I don't see where she commented on the story either way. Post the retraction if you have one.
This wasn't front page news and it is just a rehash of the prior incident with more detail, the story is buried in the NYT Sunday Review in the print edition. But what it rightfully points out is that the FBI didn't interview any of the witnesses to what was common knowledge. Her mother and friends knew of this a few days after the event but the FBI investigation was limited and Grassley announced the case was closed.
This story isn't changing anything but the OP chose to resurrect the debate and claim fake news when intelligent debate fails. Reading the story she sounds very credible but this isn't going anywhere.

It is amazing that democrats on this board and a democratic party presidential candidate call for Kavanaugh's impeachment with no evidence and no due process. democrats and their leaders want to negate fundamental rights of americans.
It is shocking and scary how the democratic party disrespects basic American values and laws.

Nope. He is not impeachable unless a Democratic Senate is elected. I doubt very much the house would waste its time until that occurs. And it is of course partisan. As was the administration failure to follow up on the Stier accusation.

Your outrage is pretty thin when it is the Dems that WANT due process—which meant have the FBI investigate the allegations—
Get first had testimony-under oath—from those involved
The White House wouldn’t allow it to happen
They wouldn’t allow the FBI to address the charges in any way
The FBI would have but it required the direction from the WH because Kavanaugh was their nominee...
Needless to say—if you know you have dog poop on your shoe you aren’t going to pull it off and hold it under your date’s nose...
So the investigation didn’t take place
