I say good riddence.

All he did was follow the state’s own sentencing guidelines.

He passed down much harsher sentence for a similar case in the past.

I was wondering what happened to him. He should probably leave the country. The smear campaign against him was atrocious and very thorough. He only followed the probation department's recommendation. AND the accuser's wishes - she did the guy didn't belong behind bars.

"Raul Ramirez, a 32-year-old immigrant from El Salvador who admitted to sexually assaulting his female roommate in a case that has similarities with the Stanford case, will be sentenced to three years in state prison under a deal overseen by judge Aaron Persky, according to records obtained by the Guardian."

In this country, we convict each case on facts and evidence available for their case, not on the actions of others. Do better.

The savagery and professional victimization of faux-feminists have delegitimized the fight against sexual assault and made it an all out war in men. It's sickening.

Oh puhleez.

How is it a war on men?

Want to stay out of prison if you're a guy? Treat women with respect and don't sexually assault them. C'mon now.

35 Times Men Were Falsely Accused Of Sexual Assault

Studies show that somewhere between 1.5% and 90 % of rape allegations are false. Rape allegations against MEN.

You quoted me. I'll repeat - through the savagery and professional victimization of faux-feminists who have delegitimized the fight against sexual assault and made it an all out war on men. Like the idea that women can't consent when they're drunk but alcohol makes men completely sober and responsible for their actions, with the miraculous ability to discern when someone is drunk, how drunk they are and whether or not someone who is walking, talking, dancing, driving, singing, etc. is actually in the middle of a black out.

That's a duh. Those faux feminists I mentioned also serve on juries.
